Happy Easter!
Chatty wishes to thank all of you who sent birthday wishes, and to say thank you and hello to all of you who were kind enough to drop by after reading her guest-blog over at Derfwad Manor yesterday. Most especially, thanks to "Mrs. G" for letting Chatty host "Slow Cook Thursday", and meet new people!
As you can see, Chatty went a little overboard with the egg decorating. Chatty leaves it to you to imagine how many eggs she ruined to end up with these few (let’s just say she and The Wiz ate eggs cooked every way imaginable for a week), but nothing says spring like a basket of Easter eggs!

And, because some of you who left comments are still in the throes of winter and seemed to enjoy the glimpse of spring Chatty’s flowers provided, here are a few more to hold you until the snow melts and your own flowers begin to bloom in profusion…

Finally, here is Chatty’s favorite picture of spring at Mormon Lake, Arizona…

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Nice to meet you. I love Dire Straights too. Your recipe for the beef sounds too delicious! I'm gonna try it. Would love to hear more about your "show biz" days... I used to live in Pasadena when I was growing up and have loved the movies ever since.

Frankly, I can't believe the kind of flowers you have growing there! Northern NY is still all snow and mud! Maybe next year we'll visit you the end of February...
