Chatty's two-legged "treasures"

Chatty would like to thank all those who emailed and commented about how cute her two-legged treasures were in the last Weekly Word Challenge.

Ordinarily, she would leave it at that, but because several of you were kind enough to email expressing concern about the oxygen tubes in the baby's nose, she felt she should address that concern.

Let's just say that the little guy had a really rough start, and spent most of his first month on earth in neo-natal ICU.

The picture Chatty posted last Tuesday was taken the day before he got to go home for the first time, shortly before Christmas.

However, he has made a complete recovery... and since The Wiz brought these home today, Chatty now has the new pictures to prove it!

His big brother is also doing well:

He loves having a baby of his very own to play with. As you can see, they are getting along famously:

However, because Chatty is NOT one who dotes on children (ahem), you may rest easy knowing that she probably won't post any more pictures of them until they do something interesting. Winning the Nobel Peace Prize would be nice, for example. Making it to the Olympics (like their cousin - who  played on the U.S. Volleyball team in the last Olympics) would also probably merit a mention.

Then again, if their mother comes through with some more really really cute pictures, Chatty might have to reconsider...because as smart as the little whippersnappers already are, it will take them a few years to achieve "interesting" on a global scale, right?

Maybe for the moment, cute is enough...
