Temporary and Permanent
Every so often, an idea for the Weekly Word Challenge just jumps out and grabs Chatty immediately - and that was the case this week.
So, without further ado, here is Chatty's take on Tink's latest assignment:

Chatty was tempted to call this post "Men in Kilts" - but she didn't want to spoil the surprise.
Yes.
It is Chatty's firm opinion that ALL men look fabulous in kilts - and to think, she found FIVE of them willing to make her dream wedding come true by donning them - uncomplainingly, she might add. Don't they look handsome? You can't tell from the picture, but the Black Watch tartan was the same for both the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. It was a beautiful wedding... and Chatty is happy that The Wiz is definitely a PERMANENT fixture in her world!

Men in Kilts, wow! I have heard that they are, um, confortable.

Hahaha Tommy Lee and Pamela. Yup temporary! Most marriages seem to be that way today although they are SUPPOSED to be forever huh? At least true love is.
Great WWC this week! Minz-up

This is your wedding photo? How cool!! I love the kilts. SuperDad used to say he was going to learn to play bagpipes. I'm all for it, if he'll wear the kilt, too!

Good examples of the words!

Great job this week. Love your wedding photo. You are right, kilts look good on men.
My dad (we are of Swedish descent) learned to play the pipes when he was over 60 and loved it.

I love men in kilts. Did they wear anything underneath?

Excellent. Pam and Tommy have been temporary several times now. LOL
Someday, when I get the chance to go to Scotland, I'm going to wear a kilt.

Oh, yes - they wore a little sumpin' sumpin' under their kilts - because while the groomsmen were willing to be "temporary" Scotsmen (because the bride and her bridesmaids were the only actual Scots in the wedding party), they were NOT willing to be THAT culturally accurate - because the correct answer to what a Scotsman wears under his kilt is, indeed, NOTHING!
All of the bridesmaids in that picture are AT THIS VERY MOMENT on their way to vacation in Scotland for 10 days, btw - how cool is THAT?

Aye, men in kilts! That was a touching accounting, well done. I had to laugh at the first one!

I love men in kilts! My Stepdad, who's Scottish, is going to wear his kilt when he walks me down the isle.
