Another rock is almost ready to roll

This one has taken Chatty quite a long time. It's a tiger's eye cabochon, and it has been complicated to make. Chatty did a peyote loop to make it a pendant. It wasn't easy. She didn't like the look of the loop "straight on", so she angled it and then sewed it to the backing. She's pleased with the result.

As you can see, she is now working on the detachable necklace. In a few hours, she may have the whole thing completed, but here's a progress photo in the meantime (because Chatty's eyes are very tired):

    More on this one soon...

Wow! Pretty! Do you sell these on Etsy or just make for your own personal enjoyment?

Man, that would wear my eyes thin and dry too!

    Thanks for the nice words.
I haven't tried to sell on etsy, although I have looked at it. It seems their prices are all over the place - a LOT of people apparently don't value their time at all, and are so are selling things for next to nothing; plus there are dozens and dozens of pages that come up when you type in "beaded cabochons" - many of which aren't even close to being beaded cabochons, so it's very confusing to a potential shopper, I would think - and I don't see how mine wouldn't get lost in the shuffle. *sigh* I am hoping to get my own website up, and meanwhile am looking for boutiques that might like to display them here in town.
