Moody and Bright
This Weekly Word Challenge asks that we find representations of the words “moody” and “bright”.
Well, let Chatty think…
Sadly, she could not find her mood ring (oh, yes, Chatty has one!) - which would have been appropriate, if a tad 70ish...so she was left hunting for another idea when she came across an old post by a blog acquaintance.
By his own admission in that post, Jay - the WWC's favorite “cynical bastard” – is a Pisces.
Those born under the sign of the fishes are sensitive, kind (but don’t tell anyone!), talented, and… moody.
Ergo, Jay is MOODY.
Chatty will grant you that Jay does not look moody - but we ALL KNOW how precise astrological signs are. Sidney Omar and Linda Goodman's Sun Signs state so definitively. Who is Chatty to argue with Sidney and Linda?
Chatty would like to mention in passing that she is also a Pisces - and if you ask The Wiz, he will assure you that she is definitely moody...but there is already a picture of Chatty on this blog.
Besides, who could resist showcasing a guy with a nice selection of booze (well - it COULD be oils and vinegars behind him on that counter...); who looks comfortable in a Viking helmet; and who writes a darned witty blog, to boot? Chatty couldn't pass up the opportunity. Weak though her reasoning is...it was written in the stars.
Speaking of stars - our beloved Tink is a shining star to us all. Even in the midst of all the craziness that is her life at the moment - living in Hurricane Alley while planning her wedding to Hoop, and all - she has still managed to complete the magnificent adventures of Twisted Tink ...

Ahhh you couldn't have chosen two better people to illustrate!! Great way to work it Chatty! Well, except for me... who's moodier than a Crab? (Cancer lol) Yes, that I am... and being so, I find myself cheering them on but yet slightly melancholy that it wasn't me. hahaha (such a spoiled brat I am, just ask Mom)

Aunt Jackie - my mother was a "crab" - funny, she always preferred that to "Cancer" too - and who could blame you guys, really????- but when it came to moody and pouting, I could always win with both hands tied behind my back! I won't go to the mat with you about it, but I'm tellin' ya - Pisces are moody AND award-winning pouters! HOWEVER, both are water signs, so tears run freely for both. Hmmmmm. Maybe this whole astrology thing DOES have its merits...
Kcinnova - any group with a rubber chicken for a mascot has my vote.
And, thanks to all for agreeing with me that DeGrazia is NOT cutesy. I get SO tired of hearing that! I think it's sour grapes because he is one of the most "reproduced" artists in the world. Apparently, once you've had your own calendars and cookbook, you aren't a "real" artist anymore. People are such snobs. *sigh* I think art available to one and all is a GOOD thing!
And to ALL who mentioned it - yes, Jay IS dashing in his Viking Helmet - that's why Chatty couldn't resist showing it ONE MORE TIME. Gee - Jay has family in town this week - I bet he doesn't even KNOW that he's our hero...
