Abundance and Thanks
Chatty is back in the groove, and it's time for another Weekly Word Challenge, brought to us by the always wonderful Tink.
This week, the words we are to express in photos are "abundance" and "thanks".
Well, Chatty decided there are (happily) a couple of things she now has in abundance! You see, Chatty got all "homemade" this year, and many of you know that she made her own olives, and her own wine.
She now has both in abundance!
This first picture is of her wine - and she freely admits it is a lousy picture, taken through her less than sparkling kitchen window - because hey - Chatty wasn't about to heft four 5-gallon containers of wine up into a more photogenic area - but at least you will get an idea. By the way - there are two MORE big jugs (one 3 gallons, one 5 gallons, that have ALREADY been decanted as potential Christmas presents, so this picture is just of the four remaining...). We're really talking ABUNDANCE here, folks! And, Chatty would like you all to know that this wine is positively DRINKABLE! Chatty is stunned, but quite pleased:

Moving right along, Chatty now presents the OLIVES! Again, she now has an abundance of them, all harvested from the tree in her front yard:

It is absolutely amazing how many olives Chatty had to clean and pit to result in these several jars - but Chatty definitely has an abundance sure to last at least a couple of years - because, really, how many olives does even a great olive-lover like Chatty eat in a given month? Or year?
On to thanks. Chatty is thankful for so MANY things - her wonderful life in Arizona, her wonderful husband (we just celebrated our fifth anniversary over the Thanksgiving weekend), her family, her friends - and her little angels.
Cleo, looking pretty in pink, and getting better every day:

And Toot, who really DOES look like an angel, thanks to clever photography on the part of The Wiz. She is actually sitting backwards on a "moose" ottoman our friends have up at their house in Pine Top. Chatty just LOVES this picture, and although she can't take credit for taking it, at least she had the swift intelligence to realize what a great shot it would be, and yelled for The Wiz to grab the camera (Chatty herself was sitting on the couch by Toot, and realized that if she moved, Toot would also move - hence many thanks for the quick reflexes of The Wiz):

That's all from Chatty for the moment - later, alligators!

So glad to hear Cleo is getting better. Poor baby.
And I adore the moose/angel photo. Absolutely angelic!

That looks like almost enough wine to get me through the weekend. LOL

Toot makes a good moose!
And I just want to love on Cleo (kisses and pats).
I hope the joy of these two furry children make the loss of your precious Fluffy a little more bearable.
Happy 5th Anniversary to Chatty & The Wiz!

That looks like a LOT of wine. How cool that you made your own. So glad that Cleo is recovering. The other puppy is adorable with his moose wings. Missed you at wordzzles.

Omg, those jugs are filled with wine?! Party at Chatty's house! Hehehe. I love the moose-dog shot. Or is that supposed to be a reindeer? Cute either way. Thanks for your comments on my blog, both of them. I always love your input on things.

I'm delighted to see Cleo looking so prim and proper in her pink petticoat! Glad to hear she is feeling better. Hugs and kisses to the little pup for me and a big ole butt sniff followed by an ear lick from the sunny-dog.
Happy Anniversary to you and The Wiz! Oh and should you find yourself in a situation of having an overabundance of olives, I'll be happy to relieve you of a jar or nine! Same goes for the wine, by the way...

I'm happy that Cleo continues on the mend. Lovely shots (and the Wiz too). Having that amount of wine around would not do me any favors, I'd be a lush by spring
