Disappearing Dos...and doggies with Daddy

Well, Chatty had wandered into the living room to take a picture of the sweet Nativity set her cousin had made for her a couple of years ago - to send to her cousin so she would know it was still much appreciated.

When she got there with her camera, there was "volunteer kitty" Dos arranged sweetly in the armchair, his head on the chair arm, gazing at the Nativity scene.

Chatty couldn't believe her luck! And, she had her camera at the ready!

Yeah, NOT - pictures rarely happen when cats are around - unless they are sleeping, or don't notice the camera:

Nevertheless, Chatty took a close-up of the Nativity scene for her cousin, to let her know that it has travelled well:

And then, because The Wiz had made a FIRE (only our third since living in Arizona), and because puppies are much more malleable, Chatty got a good picture of the doggies with their daddy:

Yes, Cleo is yawning, and Toot looks rather bored, too - but that's because they are so accustomed to seeing the camera come out...

And, following family tradtion, Chatty has pulled out a jigsaw puzzle, has set up her area, and is just about to tackle it. She has situated things so that she can listen to Christmas music while looking at the tree. With luck, The Wiz and a few friends will help her a bit, because she has a contest with her cousin to see who gets her jigsaw completed first...

(That grey thing on the left is Chatty's really cool "daylight" craft lamp - the better to see details with when she gets down to all the red bricks and red-brown street pieces so prevalent in this puzzle!)

Chatty has finished wrapping all but ONE present - for this one, she will need the help of The Wiz, because it is long, and weighs 16 pounds.  Sixteen pounds is much heavier than it sounds - especially when you are trying to move it up, down and around to wrap it...

    Happy Happy!  Merry Merry!
