Dustmop v. Debutante - you decide!
OK.
Chatty is still reeling from the Superbowl, but life keeps going - and Toot's hair keeps growing!
So, Chatty Steelers steeled herself - and made an appointment with the groomer, for Toot to be shorn.
Here is a picture of our little dustmop before being shaved:
And here is a picture of our little debutante - after being bathed, styled, perfumed and bedizoned with little red bows:
She looks like a different dog, no?
There is debate over which "look" is more adorable - although we all basically admit that Toot is cute no matter what her hair length.
So...we're taking a vote.
Those who might like to take the time are asked to vote - Dustmop or Debutante?
One more view of each:
The dustmop?
or the Debutante?
Your votes will be counted!
But...absolutely no prizes will be forthcoming.
So vote honestly, and vote often - you have nothing to lose!

While Toot is awfully cute there in her beauty parlor finery, I like her a little more on the dustmop side.
(Possibly because I usually look that way myself?)

This is a very, very hard decision!! Toot looks cute however she looks, but I think I have to vote for the dustmop because she looks cuter than cute!

Dustmop for sure, but this is from a person who owns a Himalayan cat, absolutely loved the Collie her uncle had and loves the looks of Pulis, Komondors, Afghans and corded Poodles.

Dustmops rule--but I think Toot is probably more comfortable looking good.

DUSTMOP! But yawl must stay secured indoors given proximity to Phoenix as saw that news report about daily kidnappings in Phoenix for ransom.

Well, dustmop is adorable and groomed is cute too! But, I really think a happy medium is the best fit. Cuz' a little dusty is cute but you can still see the features of the pup!

I give two thumbs... er, paws up for the "Debutante".

I always like Andy (our Maltese) midway between shaved and dustmop. The former is easy (but he's just a rat with a furry tail) and the mop is cute, but he looks *huge* 'cause he hates to be brushed. Oh the little dears -- and ours bit my hand tonight.
