Laissez faire, or; The Spray Bottle of Peace
–noun
1. the theory or system of government that upholds the autonomous character of the economic order, believing that government should intervene as little as possible in the direction of economic affairs.
2. the practice or doctrine of noninterference in the affairs of others, esp. with reference to individual conduct or freedom of action.
Also, laisser faire.
We tried Definition # 1 first - letting "the theory or system of government" stand for "Chatty and The Wiz".
But, that didn't work.
So, we proceeded to Definition #2 - and added a spray bottle.
Here is Definition #2 in action...for the moment...

Chatty is calling it "a lot of laissez, with a little bit of faire"...
Does the U.N. know about this tactic?

If you put tequila in the spray bottle, would they all be dancing on the tables and singing songs together in harmony? *grin*
So, have you officially adopted Dos, or is he/she like my mother's cat: willing to be taken care of by a family other than its own.

Yes - they'd probably be willing to learn the Mexican Hat Dance for a spray of tequila!
And, no, we have not officially adopted Dos - we are just his "other parents". He splits his time between here and next door, where his "real" parents live - along with two dogs he disapproves of even more than he disapproves of ours. He eats his canned food over there at 6 am, he eats his dry food here. We are night owls, so he tends to come spend the late evenings with us, after they have gone to bed next door and he gets bored. Apparently, he finds that a little dog-baiting is always a good antidote to the blahs...
