Welcome back, Chatty! I was thinking about you last night, wondering how your trip went. :D
Our humidity will soon be approaching 90% (today's high: 87-F, with a "real feel" of 97-F). We run the dehumidifier every day, but I still feel damp... it's icky.
Wal*Mart, seriously? That's crazy! (I hadn't braced myself quite well enough.)
Hope you bought some allergy meds - we're all itchy throated, sniffling, and coughing here, too.

Well, with a name like "The Wiz" I suppose that *might* raise a flag... [smile]
Good for you, not freaking out! Well, not too much. Leave the cute jeweled sandals at home, you probably need the room in your suitcase. And I think The Wiz might be related to SuperDad. They both know how to make footwear last a really long time!
Hope your trip is wonderful!

Hey, the flu looks and sounds different than an allergy attack. After all the ocean breezes, on your vacation your allergies should clear up and you will have a safe flight home. As for the trip down there--all the folks that think you have the flu will sit far away from you and you have just created your own isolation zone-smart Chatty!

My 2 oldest boys have clearly had allergy coughs and sneezes lately. Boy #3 is possibly allergies or possibly just a cold (but I'm voting allergies at this point). I've been pretty healthy, as has SuperDad.
Boy #4 set me in a panic: 24 hours after his daddy removed a tick from SnakeMaster's armpit, he had a fever and a sore throat! Not just any tick, but a deer tick that had probably been there for 24 hours. I call the pediatrician but the receptionist told me that unless he gets a rash and other symptoms, they don't treat with antibiotics. I'm trying to remain calm.

Which is exactly what Chatty should do: dose up on the allergy meds and remain calm!
I hope you enjoy your trip!

Hmmm, and I love to make new meals from left-overs.

Though, if you separate fresh tortillas and wrap them well (like saran or better press & seal) and then store them in a ziplock bag (air removed) -- you'll always have fresh tortillas 'meal sized' as needed.

I'm big on freezing.

Or, you could freeze the rest, and defrost as you want to make your chiliquiles! :-)

Have a great trip!!!
